I love the fact that we are living in an age where decentralized platforms are slowing coming up over the horizon. And there is nothing that is going to stop them. People are so upset at platforms like Youtube, Facebook and Twitter for their heavy-handedness and censorship. These social media giants are RIPE for toppleing. don't think it won't happen. Nobody stays at the top forever.
I have been using Twitter for about 6 years now especially with our An American Homestead account. Posting on Twitter has always been a chore. Meaning I didn't really like doing it but I know we have viewers that enjoy using it and its a way to reach more of our audience.
But Sola is FUN! It's easy to swipe thru new content and see the content you prioritize from friends and like minded users. PLUS, you get paid for posting content just like Steemit! The same way Steemit is to Crapbook, Sola is to Twitter. We live in a brave new world where social media actually realizing that users really want content only they want to see. Users are learning that Crapbook and other platforms are only being used to spy on us and gleen information for advertisers.
SOLA IS EASY!
It's built more for use on your phone but will operate on a laptop or computer. Here are some of my phone screenshots. This is my dashboard. You are given action points for activity on the platform. In Steem terms, people upvote your content or comments and you are given action points. And from what I can tell, you are given 1 SOL for every 20 action points. The SOL is the liquid that will eventually be able to be moved to cash.
At some point soon, they will be releasing a wallet after the ICO and be listed on exchanges! It's not all that often that a coin has a WORKING Beta before the ICO so that is encouraging.
Here is a post of mine with a picture I posted to the network. You can see its earnings with 517 action points awarded by other SOLA users. 830 views and 17 comments. Oh and that is @shalomacres sending me a text in the bottom right corner. :)
The post shows you who has commented and how many action points they awarded your post. Most of these faces you might recognize as being other Steemians.
This post was awarded over 20 SOL. As far as I can tell, post run and earn for a period of 7 days...kinda like Steemit. I'm still learning all this so if anyone needs to correct my information, please leave a comment below.
Sure enough, you can share your posts on other social media platforms. Sola also rewards you in action points when someone clicks on your links. And that means more SOL earnings!

I went ahead and signed up for it, just to see what it is about. I don't know if my brain can take any more "new" stuff, though! I still need to learn this steemit stuff! Also, I was subjected to some pictures that I didn't want to see, so there is that issue.
