RE: Steemit.com Release Deployed - NSFW Issue Resolved and More!

::nods:: Hey, I don't even like to see myself naked. LOL I'm not fond of the visual content but I will always defend their right to post it as long as it's legal, you know?

That being said, I'm not particularly fond of the idea that kids are on the site. Maybe give them Steemit JR. because it's not just the sexually explicit stuff, it's also language. I personally love flinging the F word around and don't want to filter my content. This now makes me wonder Will I need the NSFW label if I throw in explicit language? Even retail markets need parental consent for kids under 18 to buy certain video games because of content.

Don't get me wrong - I agree that NSFW stuff needs a "safety cover". Right now it's for the porn and X-rated things, and I do label my erotic fiction - BUT where does it stop? What's it's reach? Are we now allowing the younglings and the goody-goodies to determine what should or must be labeled as NSFW? It's kind of a slippery slope if you ask me.

On the flip side - we kind of need it if we ever want to go mainstream and get out of beta.
