RE: 500th Post: My Steemit Review - The Good, The Bad and Perhaps The Ugly

You said a lot and I read through the entire thing. I also believe the good outweighs the bad but you also mention some good remedies for the bad. I personally have no problem with sports or porn, especially since they are billion dollar businesses, so obviously people are into it. Hey, I'm a grown woman with a mind to choose what I do and do not click, right? Let's assume we're all adults here. Anyway...

My focus is and may forever be on user engagement and advocacy stemming from my time as a community moderator in the 90s. I don't mind short posts but quality, to me, means there's got to be something redeeming about the post other than a quick meme, which I can find with a google search. I love connecting with PEOPLE. I read your entire post because it resonated with me. In fact, I've hit the follow button because it was well thought out and presented in a forthright manner.

I have a feeling Steemit is working its way to be more user-friendly to engage the masses and convert our FB friends. The learning curve is still way too steep for many and only the stubborn survive.

Now with the falling STEEM prices, I'm actually hoping that those who felt trapped in 104 weeks of payouts leave quickly so the true Steemians can take the mantle and build this place up. We'll get there. We need more quality people. Honestly, I think Steemit has some of the most intelligent and creative people on the planet - and the mix of male and female, young and old, from several countries and faiths tells me we are an amazing is unique melting pot. I love it here. We will endure. :)
