Steemit is absolute crap - an ironical, cynical and sarcastic analysis

in #steemit8 years ago (edited)

We all knew it. Our hopes in a revolutionary community creating value on its own got lost among all this steemit apostels, greedy selfmade female bloggers and self-exposers. Every day the same picture on the trending page - which is falsely translated from 9gag - and is actually the hot page.

Our lovely steemit apostels want to convince us how great Steem, Steemit and STEEM is. And the first thing that comes us in mind is why the same word is written differently every time. Its the perfect system we have to know. Because the apostels write posts about Steem, generate more and more new users, who want to know how the system works. And if they have enough brain to understand they also write blogs about Steem. Its like a snake who eats its own tail. Steem only exists because of Steem. Its infinite.

But wait, there is a post about "Hey guys, look how pretty i am and give me your upvotes". Its the way a greedy selfmade blogger female tries to squeeze money out of you. Its the ultimate stripper community. Only difference is you wont see her boobys and wont put money in her pants, but in her wallet. You only see her on vacation, maybe on the beach with her bikini and a lovely story about her life. And this modern strippers develop. They mix with steem apostels. So you can see on the trending page a video of a nice girl with steemit balloons on the beach with nice music in the background. Great job!

And if you want to feel bad, there comes a self-exposer. They did everything in their life and will show it. You are a piece of shit in comparison with them. They did their PhD with an age of 5 and work for anonymous, NASA or as an founder of a global multibillion company. And they achieved world peace, you have to know. They never did anything wrong. And the best thing about this, they can write everything and you cant verify it.

But the most important thing comes here: You upvoted them .

Important: Steemit is a great community with a lot of potential. This article should not insult or offend any person or Steem. Its ironical, cynical and sarcastically and should entertain. The intention is to think about your behaviour in terms of the blogs you post and the blogs you like. Its not about money, lets create real value for this community with high quality blogs.

#introduceyourself literally makes me sick. That's all I have to say

I also am disillusioned by the trash people upvote. This smiling wanta be model (most likely NOT the steemian who holds the acct) paraphrasing something like...
Give me your vote so I can use rhat gold to buy the local animal shelter a months' supply of animal food.
What they do not show us is the half payment they put down on their new Kia, Toyota, Ford etc; you get the idea.
I have no problem with people introducing themselves, their story once; I just do not like 'bots' and nor do i like con artists and scams.
If steemit does not care maybe I will start down voting stories that seem to good to be true and that add nothin worthwhile to our steemit...

Nice write up. The last line being my favorite by far. "Its not about money, Lets create real value....". If you'd like to help us get articles other then #introduceyourself noticed join us in the MinnowsUnite Group on Gli.ph(51 members strong so far)

It's going to take a lot of effort and introspection by all concerned for this project to continue long enough for anybody to fully power down. The fact that folks are quickly reassessing their roles and voting patterns is somewhat helpful.

I like sarcasm.
