You made a lot of great points. Near the end you mention that you keep your bitcoins on coinbase.com. This is a great way to cash out to USD but you don't control your bitcoins. Keeping them offline with the keys in your possession is still recommended seeing how you're interested in accumulating bitcoin.

if you dont trust third parties, then obviously you will lose your money, but I don't trust or distrust, as it's a means of judging myself. I simply have confidence that the internet that provided me the money is the safest place to keep it, cause that's where it came from. I have been earning money online since 1999, have earned millions and not lost anything. My mentality is if I ever lose money online, that money would simply come back to me from another source online, that mentality also protects me from losing in the first place... and it's beautiful :)
