Blue Cenderawasih is a polygamous species. Male birds attract couples with dance rituals that show off their ornate feathers. Unlike other Paradisaea Cenderawasih birds, Cenderawasih Blue performs no dance in groups. The males hung their bodies down, unfurled their feather ornaments like blue fans while chirping in a low humming sound. Nearby there is a female.
