Steemit is growing fast, but what will happen when it gets bigger than the rest?
I believe steemit will get really really big in a matter of months, in a year it will give FB a run for it's money which is fantastic for everyone on here.
But what about all the new steemerz?
lets say steemit has a billion users
A billion steemers = A billion post = less chance your post will ever get seen unless you have a lot of followers
This means if your new to steemit your post will never get seen thus you will never get any followers.
I have only been on steemit for a little over a month and i think is the best thing since bitcoin
but i think this is a valid concern for new users to the platform in the future.
Let me know what you think?
Maybe steemit have a plan :)
The number of active (human) curators needs to scale proportionally with the growth of the network. The more eye-balls that are scanning the different feeds, the less likely good posts will remain unrewarded. I think this is the most critical aspect for user retention. The new linear reward curve that comes with HF19 should help, too.
This is about the best answer i think i'm going to get. Thanks, you really seem to have a good understanding of the whole process.
grow steemit grow
Hi Mark, This is off subject. There is a show on HGTV called Tiny House, Big Living where tiny house owners give a tour of their home to the show host. I don't know if you already know this, or if you would be interested in something like this. Sometimes they ask people to contact them if they are interested. You never know. I'm posting here so you would see my message.
1 steem = $1000
good point:)

With all posts grouped in topics I think valuable posts will still get noticed. I don't know when they implement this though
Let's hope!
