be consistent and never give up..consistency and quality posts are the key to success here but sometimes you still dont get the acknowledgement that your posts deserve, for that, you have to follow more people and many of them will follow you back eventually. quality comment on good bloggers posts can attract followers to your blog too.
i saw this post because @r2cornell resteemed it. defenitely following you now !

    Thanks for the advice @mariahbill

    1. Never agreed with your following thing (Because that's seems like a follow for follow strategy which is against the rules too!, If I like someones work I will follow her/him & if someone will like my work then He/she will follow me for their interest)
    2. The 2nd point is really helpful (comment on other bloggers post, We can get huge rewards from comments & that's what I learned from other experienced steemians here)
