Thank you Steemit, for having me for these past 8 months, You really are the best community the internet has been blessed with

Thanks for clicking on my post.

I just wanted to take a moment to take a long look back at what the steemit community has given me, what the platform has made possible over these past 8 months.

I can honestly say, Steemit has given me more than just rewards. It's given me hope, the ability to shake off depression.

10 years down the line, when I'm successful. I hope to tell stories about Steemit, how it affected me. How it changed my way of thinking, and how it changed the world's way of thinking.

Here are some of the things steemit has done for me:

Steemit has been sustaining me.
That's right, time and time again, steemit has been helping me an otherwise unemployed content author survive for the longest time.

Not quite sure how many times I've been dangerously close to due dates, and a steemit payout saved me from paying that bill. The amount of appreciation that I have for this community and what everyone's part was in helping me out, cannot be measured. This platform has literally saved my life. And the amazing thing was, all you had to do was care enough to upvote me, the combined magic of the platform and the good will of it's community has saved me. Thank you. Thank you so much!

Steemit saved me from depression
Just talking and sharing comments, reading words of wisdom from more experienced people. Combined with the raw inspiration of taking your idea, and turning it into cash, in essence, had not only prevented me from focusing on all the bad things that were happening in life.

When your facing depression, it feels like your life and conception of everything is being submerged in dark and gloom. Steemit has been that light in the darkness, the lantern that glowed brilliantly with every single person who I've interacted with and viewed on steemit. Thank you again Steemit, for keeping me sharp and focused. I really couldn't have done it without you.

Steemit kept me freelancing
Thanks to the platform being so awesome at networking. I was able to find plenty of interesting and respectful clients to work for. One thing that Steemit attracts is Entrepreneurs, and with them are always new ideas being set in motion. Steemit allowed me to tap into that market. Allowing me to find commissions and oddjobs that I wouldn't have ever found without steemit.

Steemit helped me improve my skills
As more and more steemit related projects had been started. The need for knowledge and skills to perform certain techniques arose. Steemit has definitely challenged my designing prowess and because of that, it has made me a stronger content creator. Additionally, when you're writing so many blogs like this, you eventually start to understand how to capture your audience with your writing. So once again, thank you to all of you who have followed my content, and helped push me to become a better writer and artist.

There are so many things that I have accomplished thanks to steemit and it's community members. From getting hired on to an extremely awesome company @privex, to selling t-shirts I designed for the minnow support project.

There are a lot of experiences steemit has made possible for me, and I'm just super grateful for all of it.

I'm just a single person with a story.

A single person in an ocean of other people with their own stories. Without a doubt, I know for a fact, that steemit is a positive platform. If steemit was able to help me do all these things, I just can't imagine how much good steemit as a whole has achieved.

No other blogging or message board out there can achieve what steemit has achieved. Without a doubt. I hope steemit continues to grow and grow so more people can use it. I hope that steemit can inspire a revolution in thinking. Inspire other websites to follow this sort of path.

Steemit is making the world a better place, one post at a time.

Content creators, Curators, Witnesses, commentors, upvoters, followers, you are all doing wonderfully. Thank you all very much for making steemit what it is today.

And another big thank you to the Developers who made steemit into a reality. These guys honestly deserve a round of applause.

I will always treasure steemit.

From the bottom of my heart, I always will.

Everything about steemit. The community, the website, the many new friends I have made. I love you all. And I'm just so damn lucky to be here today to share that with you all.

Steemit has made the largest impact on me, and if my life were a book, I'd definitely have a chapter named Steemit.
