Resteeming bots are major bullshit - don't let them crap up the platform

I've been of Steemit for a few weeks tops and as I came back I've noticed a new fad. A bunch of them are even giving away worthless amounts of STEEM or SBD so they can spam you through your wallet.

If you have a functional brain you must know already that those bots are a major bullshit, but let me say it anyway.

Resteeming bots are shit because:

The only way to use them and not have your feed killed with crap is if you use mute option (that is what I do, but I plan to quit because that shit is getting old fast).

If you are using them, and are not using mute then you significantly reduce the percentage of quality content in your feed. Up to the point where it is totally random.

If that is how you design your feed then you are going against the essential idea of Steemit - that quality content will be valuable and visible while crap and spam will eventually die out.

Soon everybody who uses them except for low percentage of very low value authors will have those bots on mute and they will die-out even faster than they appeared.

They are a quick-buck scheme that doesn't bring any value to the platform but actually takes the value out, both in terms of money and in terms of quality.

Image: Whatever this guy resteems I resteem and then we're being useless together.

One more thing - they tend to advertise themselves by using phrases like this one: We're a small but growing community...

Let's make one thing clear - community is a group of people connected by a common idea or a value.

Random followers of a guy running a quick-buck script is not a community and will never be.

P.S. I'll resteem this through a resteembot and would like to know how many of you have actually seen it through that channel.

The quality is better than quantity and shitty Resteem ;)
