RE: Letter to New Musicians on Steemit - Lessons learned in 6 months of being here

in #steemit7 years ago

Hallo!
This is a great post! I'm really glad that you have had such a great experience on here, mine has been awesome as well, it's incredible how a deadline and a songwriting contest can change your life for the better, it totally did for me :)

It was very sweet and lovely to read my name among those you feel are close to your heart! the feeling is mutual :), meeting people like you has been some of the best parts of being on steemit hehe.

I was gonna tell you that bittrex indeed doesn't allow creation of new accounts right now, I actually tried to open one a while ago but was too late :(

Also You should know that coin base doesn't work as well depending on where you are located, I guess it works well in Germany and somewhere like the US, but it doesn't currently work in Southamerica from what I've seen, I have a coinbase account, but I can't buy or sell any cyptocurrecies, I can only use it as a wallet which is unfortunate.

This is a great post though, so I'll be resteeming it, I have several friends that could use this post as a reference :)

Also, I think it's awesome you finally took the leap of a live open mic!! Congratulations!!

Walk in beauty! :)

Yellow,
re bittrex and coinbase - ok I guess that is a topic for the next post, to make some research on how to actually cash out in different locations, it took me couple of hours to figure out, and I think it is a problem that everyone faces, so it would be lovely to centralize this knowledge.
for example I know Sam in Bali just goes to a shop with his bittrex wallet info and they give him cash to his hand, no bank accounts needed.

Thank you, I saw you were posting new recording stuff, I will check it out, too :)

I updated info on cashing out - there is a new solution called blacktrades, meno did a tutorial on it. Not sure, if it helps though, seems like you still need coinbase.
