I guess the steemit site owners have more accurate statistics from google analytics (?)
I bet their data will be close to the initial data provided ... just a feeling...

    Possibly. i'd assume the google sample would be much larger. If you're interested in what Google thinks YOUR gender is you can go to http://www.google.com/ads/preferences if you're signed in to google and scroll down. It will show the gender and age that it thinks you are. Might be interesting.
