RE: Why I Bought 250k Steem During The Dip & Just Getting Started

in #steemit6 years ago

You can pay content creators a huderth of a penny YAY freedom. Unless of course you want to buy into the system. Where whales vote themselves up and rape the payouts which continually dilute the value of STEEM currency, while they tell you to "work hard" as they claim 10 times what you get in a month for a post about themselves making a tuna sandwich.

Sort:

That is decentralization. If we tell people who or what they can do with their steem, then it becomes less appealing. I believe if you create enough value, regardless if you have steem or not, you can grow a loyal following. If you got into YouTube 7 years ago and was consistent, chances are you amassed an amazing following. But for some people, Steemit is a place where they can't have their account banned, and their content can be stored for however long the Steem blockchains lives. It's not perfect, but things will get better overtime.
