Super agree on your tips! I also very appreciate for those who commented on my post. If it is a spam, mostly I will just ignore it (most of the time I will just reply thank you as a courtesy). The comments actually makes the post even more comprehensive and helps the author to see more than one perspective.

Yup true, for those spammers, I may reply thank you as a courtesy but once I know it is a spam, I will either flag or ignore.
