It forces me to kill the tab. I restarted Chrome, the entire PC ... same thing. I just noticed it this morning, but I haven't posted in two days.

It was a weird cache thing.
Wiping my cache/history fixed it. After I logged in, it stopped crashing in Chrome.

Of course, now my Slack session is wiped.
You can just press F12. Then right click on reload button and do 'cache reset and hard reload'. This will only reset cache for website you're on.
