Even if the site itself doesn't make it in the long run, the ripples it will have are going to be amazing. On the social media scene, in terms of people's understandings of how value is created, to demonstrate that people don't have to sell advertising to generate revenue from their content, etc.

The beautiful thing is it's not like the logo is some gawdy, ridiculous image. And even if Steemit fails, I still love what it is the door-opener for :-)
I got a tatto when I was 17, and while I don't fully regret it, neither am I still happy with it. I will say your placement choice (same as mine) is a good one, not seen all the time, I often see my getting out of the shower and say, shit I forgot I had that
