Awesome, thanks for sharing. I'm going to finally get off my ass and vote for my Witnesses of choice. That's really exciting that you're going to be getting a witness node set up, that's huge.

One of the things I haven't looked in to yet is the whole Witness thing, so this is good information for me.
I have proxy'd until I get more experience with the matter, and I know you will choose only the awesomest of awesome people to represent the now and future of Steem.
That's a good way to do it. It's really a bit of a chore to go through all of them and decide, especially if you don't know any of them yet.

Wooo, that's a tough call. Luckily we've each got 30 votes, because I don't know if I could narrow it down that much.
Definitely @teamsteem, @aggroed, @lukestokes.mhth, @ausbitbank, @xeldal, @themarkymark, and @reggaemuffin... but I'm using all but a couple of my votes right now and like them all haha
now i already have a much broad knowledge and deeper understanding about witnesses . Well i like the system wherein "The communite has the power to delegate a witness " well i always add in my posts the witnesses that i know will contribute great things in the platform . Thanks @kennyskitchen :)

Great video! This stuff can be a little complicated so it's good that you simplify it. It's really interesting to see steemit evolve and grow. I think the potential for this is just starting. It's the free market it's wonderful.
True, witness system is really important aspect in Blockchain system and on Steemit there are lot of newbies and in my opinion most of the people are unaware of Witness system, and these type of posts can educate them about the importance of witnesses and how they provide strength to Steemit Blockchain. Hi Kenny, does one of your episodes address the issue of newbies inadvertently red-lining: being confronted/halted with, "you have exceeded bandwidth limit.." It happened to me first when I had seen someone earned an award for doing four posts in one day and I thought I could go for that (I did, which meant organically, it was a high activity day in terms of curating also), but apparently my activity that day maxxed out my allotted Steemit "bandwidth". Does that mean I burned through the small amount of steem I was allocated when I joined, and should I have been more judicious in my resteeming, as a minnow? Thanks, and for this series.. Very helpful!
