I Think No one knows for sure but due to some kind market irregularity poloniex activities of the transactions were down for Steem and SBD but as you confirmed that they now have fixed the issues. So everyone enjoy your transactions on POLONIEX now @kaylinart
Ive noticed with polo at any given time you can go to withdrawals and find a few different coins that are down for withdrawal. Not to mention the countless times it glitches out trying to spit out an address for deposits.
Definitely waiting until a few of you more risk taking folk confirm that it actually works.

I tried depositing SBD in Poloniex but I haven't received it on my account. Please try small amounts first before doing so. I think this is the only case for SBD deposits. I haven't tried SBD withdrawal though.

Yep, still have the issues. Poloniex just issued this statement.
Poloniex: "SBD is currently under maintenance or experiencing wallet/network issues. Deposits and withdrawals will remain disabled until a solution is found, which may require an update from the SBD team. Any updates must be tested and audited before enabling."
UGh! Again! I contacted them on my 200 deposit but Haven't seen it. I don't think I'll be using poloniex again.
I have a transaction that got stuck just as they were disabling them. It still isn't in my account yet. I wouldn't put anything into a poloniex account until they get through the backlog, because if something goes wrong, their support is still busy getting up to date.

That was the news I was waiting for! Now I will just just transfer the STEEM to steemit and power up. That is the best solution for the network and myself, :-)
Good news. But my money that I transferred 6 days ago didn't appear in my wallet 😢
But I'll transfer all my wallets to bittrex and all STEEM to my SP 💪

Bittrex has been getting it done for me the past week no problems. Would not have been able to make the trades I posted about today without bittrex :-)

But I like Polos layout better, I guess it's because I'm not used to Bittrex's set up, So I was using blocktrades LOL.
I still haven't used blocktrades but most people seem to like it.
Nothing against Poloniex but they can't do business in my State of Residence - but it's good STEEM and SBD are back up on Poloniex. This a great time to buy the dips. I bought a ton of STEEM yesterday knowing that STEEM will hit $3 in a couple of months.

I understood it was due to HF19, but Poloniex never confirmed not denied this... Their support and public announcements are terrible! Poloniex just need to get this one thing right.
I used Changelly in the meantime, but it does not let me set limits.
What the heck!? Right??? I haven't heard of Changelly. I'll have to look into it. Poloniex needs to be more open about this stuff.

I wonder too! I checked out Bittrex, But I really don't like the interface as much as I like Poloniex. So I kinda don't want to switch, I hope Poloniex can get better.
I've seen a lot of people move away from poloniex for this reason. Nobody is happy when they can't make transactions. At least they're up an running again.
I'm setting up accounts elsewhere, can't leave everything in one place in case this becomes a regular thing. Or worse.

Very good news indeed. Hope that it reamins like that. We actually had a big discussion on this issue led by @transisto see the post in my blog as I resteemed it. I suggested that we should contact Poloniex in huge number and they will surely hear our strong and united voice. Thanks goodness that all is ok now. Thanks for sharing

I only suspect it was because of HF-19, because of the timing. You have to admit it's suspicious and I understand that maybe they wanted to see the effects and safeguard themselves from rapid transactions maybe. I'm not sure.
I sent a test deposit hours ago with the memo and everything right but it's yet to reflect. I don't know what's happening.

People have different preferences on which ones to use, Bittrex and Poloniex are popular ones, I think the fees on Polo are cheaper.

I have read people using changelly (which doesnt have SBD all the time) and Bittrex.
I personally use Bittrex for my trading etc since I have read so much bad about Poloniex the last weeks

My poloniex had someone try to login from an IP in another country and now I have to contact customer service to unfreeze me account. ( ._.)
