I wouldn't exactly consider myself an expert like some of the people on here. I don't fully understand every aspect on Steemit, But for you newbies! It's highly recommended that you do as much research as possible. Understand the whole spectrum of Steemit! I learn more everyday!

Post, Post and Post Some More

  • Write about interesting things that have happened in your life, The good, The bad! Anything that people may find interesting!

  • What do you know a lot about? Write about that!
If you are an expert on fishing, Show us your photos! Write about how others can learn to fish, Write about your experiences with fishing, And why you fell in love with it!

  • Post tips, Or things that will add to peoples life.
What do you know that others may not? Post it! Create quality content that will improve the life of others, Everyone has something to share.

Experiment, Experiment, Experiment.

Don't look at every post in the financial aspect. Use those numbers to figure what went well and what didnt.

  • Did you double check for typos?
  • Did you do formatting to make your article attractive?
  • Is this subject not yet popular on Steemit?
  • Try other subjects you are good with, And write about those. See what does best.
    Although keep in mind...

congrats, it's great to see non-crypto people find success here :)

Thank you :) Sometimes its hard to understand what is going on with the Crypto aspect haha.

@keylinart Your post is simply amazing ... and the way you wrote i really got inspired ... its high time to steemit

Though you advocate not posting garbage, it should be said that "one man's garbage is another man's gold" -- ie a makeup v.blog is garbage to me (no offense) it just doesn't interest me at all. However I do like that you say "This is NOT a Get Rich quick scheme!" I think a lot of newcomers to the site are being drawn by the idea that they might make it rich, write a few clever posts and get upvoted to the moon to then retire... which of course is not going to be the case for many people. With that said, I think you nailed the idea that people shouldn't change their behavior to suite what they think the community wants, and instead continue putting out well written content that they are passionate about.

I agree
"Some mans garbage is another man's gold"

But even though the Makeup blog was garbage to you, She worked hard on the video, it was high quality.
She took time on it, I feel like women were helped by her video. I don't consider it "Garbage" in general, You just have different interests than her :)

I am more or less talking about the male versions that came after. :P

Yeah some of those were really bad lol! But the first one I saw was pretty funny hahaha

Everyone with something interesting, uninteresting people do not exist - it's true. Every person has a story to tell interesting.

I so agree! IF someone thinks they are "uninteresting" then they just need to figure out what makes them different from everyone else.

Good thing you have fund success through this medium. Congrats and keep it up.

But what do you write about if you don't live an interesting life or not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to understanding everything?

You don't have to be a professional! Start by brain storming on a notepad, Write a huge list of everything that has happened in your life, Or things you can write about. Then pick one, and write it.
What are your hobbies?
Do you like writing fiction? Share it!
Do you like cooking? Share your favorite recipes!
If you like to paint! Show me your art!

Everyone has something to share :)

Then go out there ... and get yourself an interesting life!

That's not really easy for me to achieve. I am a full time carer for my father who has a broken back and on top of that i am pretty much a full time father to my 10 month old little girl. Getting out there and making an interesting life is not all that easy with my situation.

Here are some Ideas you could write about Nrgwolf,

  • What is it like raising your daughter? For people who may not have kids.
  • How did you break your back? What did you learn from the experience?
  • Maybe you could offer tips to new parents, And things you learned from your 10 month old daugher.
  • Your a caretaker for your father? What Is that like?
  • How do you balance your father and your 10 month old daughter? (Taking care of them)

There are some ideas to get you started on writing posts!

write about your experiences as a carer in fact i'd say it's vital you do so. So many people have no idea how difficult and isolating it can be and it will be good for you to have an outlet for your frustrations and a place to share the good moments.
Are you based in the UK? if so are you fully accessing the support available to you? getting a carers assessment is a vital first step to accessing the best support for your needs you'll find more info on the carers uk website

You copy and paste this article that I have seen 20 times. Change it and rearrange it, form steem group to upvote each others posts and game the system.

What? this is brand new! I only post original content.
Gaming the system is NOT the answer! Don't ruin the Steemit community

I think the best way to start is finding your passion and start sharing them. It ok if you can't write. First finding your passion is the way to start .

kill yourself and make a live stream, that will get people to watch, if you dont know anything to do

thats sarcastic but theres definitly some truth to it

so savage.........

Omg this made me laugh!

i think its ridiculous that people make so much money with so fucking retarded dumb posts, imo

Im not voting up a post bragging about your success.

It's not bragging, I'm helping people like you be successful too.

Awesome post! Just have fun with it.

I commend you effort, but only 40,000? pft, check this out to learn how to earn PHAT steem https://steemit.com/steemit/@ma3/how-i-made-0-01-cents-in-one-day

True I'm much lower than some of the people out there! But I work on it everyday!

It's very impressive actually, I was just messing with you :P
There's a reason I choose to shamelessly plug my article here xD

This is terrific. I'm about to start my own blog on here. Thanks so much for taking the time to help us!

Great article. Awesome motivation for those who also want to succeed.

Thank you!! I hope this will help motivate others :) I am SO motivated hehe!!

Me too. Just got my first small but decent payout now the world is full of hope! :)

The first payout is an incredible feeling <3

I joined just about 5 days ago and in that time I have come to learn a lot! Like - A LOT, A LOT. And yet I feel like I have discovered only about 0.01 % of Steem.

It is so full of potential and so interesting that you actually want to do things, create content, promote other people's content, curation and a lot lot more.

Frankly the time I spent on other social media platforms has reduced to about 1%. And I hope that goes down to 0! hehe. Anyways thanks for sharing this and good luck for the future! :)

Thank you and good luck to you too! I am the same way, I dont' use other social media as much, Although I do go on Facebook to promote my books though, Because thats my biggest audience.

Great info, tanks alot for the tipp.
Hope all others also enjoy it :) couse i did alot.

-Kind Regards

thanks for sharing...

Thank you for the motivation! It's easy to get upset when yo have original content and you don't get votes.

It happens to me too and everyone else :)
That is why you can't "keep all your eggs in one basket"
Even with just one post :) Talk about other things and share more ideas. Everytime you press the publish button you take a risk, But I feel like it's worth it no matter what. Even if you don't get a big payout, I feel like people will read it eventually and your post may help them somehow! That keeps me motivated even when a post doesn't do well.

Wow. Great story, there is a learning curve to the average joe for adding the video, pics, and style to the post. It's not impossible by no means, but new people starting out and coming to Steemit will have to learn. I have a cheap Godaddy hosting account and can FTP photos and videos to my own site. I think this helps. Thanks for the post. Good luck Kaylinart.

True! There are posts out there that will help you format your posts! I may write one in the future!
Thats good that you can have your photos and videos from your site! You can also use websites like Flickr and photobucket for that.

Congratulations on your success!

Thank you so much! I wish you the best of luck!

so enjoyed reading your blog
ME-TARZAN

I wish you success !

Good article, I agree with the segment about how reputation is everything. I haven't used this website long, but I know that is true.

Would love to connect with you! :) Are you on Twitter? @aboundlessworld
