STACH 2.0 - Iligan City Philippines

As part of our continuous desire to promote and expand the number of steemians in the Philippines particularly in our place, we decided to establish a Steemit community hub. A physical office where steemians can stay and learn many things about the platform.

This hub will be in line with STACH 2.0, a community hub which was initiated by @ejemai to help steemians in Nigeria.

The plan started with the idea on how we can help current steemians and even new comers on how the community works. The idea of posting a content seems so easy but its not. Aside from that, we need to raise a good quality of steemians. We needed steemians who can actively help the community bringing it on the streets and to all corners of the society.

Objectives:

• Intensive steemit promotion
• Strengthening steemian relations
• Enriching lives
• Improving quality of steemians
• Tutorials and learning curves
• Community outreach

We aim to promote Steemit as a source of good relationship, a community that everybody can trust. It hard to find somebody whom we can trust nowadays, and we aim to build it within the Steemit community. Everything is possible in the platform and everyone of us here had become a witness for that.

In every meetups, usually it would be the first time seeing each other physically, but even so, we felt like we are already close to each other. That's one thing about the community, relationship. Boosting this relationship to the outside community within steemit will create bonds stronger than what we are expecting. A community of brotherhood with a strong desire of helping each other, bringing an advantage noise to the Steemit platform.

Establish Economy

Among the things discussed with @ejemai is to build an economy for steemians, where services can be offered and pay SBD as its tender. It is a very simple idea but once implemented and carried out, it will help Steemit.com in the mainstream.

For instance, a steemian is already offering services to the people and upon knowing about Steemit, he wanted to introduce its services. If the any Steemian wanted to avail such services, it will pay SBD after completion of the job. This is just a simple example and in the future, lots of people/steemians will realize its advantage in the locality.

The hub

We have already acquired the space for the hub and is ready for design and structuring. It took us few weeks to secure a good place for the hub. We had many choices but had trouble with the cost since we will be shouldering its monthly expenses. Also, we wanted the site to be within the city proper.

Finally, we found it. It's located at the heart of Iligan City. Hopefully this will be a start of a good avenue for all steemians in the city to unite and build a more stronger community within the Steemit but outside the platform.

The design and structuring of the space will be conducted personally by me and @ejemai. He preferred to come and visit us here in the Philippines because he wanted to make sure that everything works fine. He wanted to make sure that the hub will serve its purpose. Hopefully, he will stay until the launching of the hub.
