RE: How To Write A Quality Steemit Post

How can you catch a net full of minnows without messing with a whale? In other words, is it possible for a minnow to communicate with a large number of other minnows without a whale saying "I approve this message"?

I think commenting on a thread like this is a good way ;) Posting good/humorous/educational comments is an easy way to get upvotes, also don't forget to upvote your own posts and comments!!

I wasn't sure about that (upvoting my own comments). I mean if I wouldn't upvote it why would I make the comment, and why wouldn't the comment itself come across to others as an upvote of itself?

The point of upvoting your own posts and comments is so you get steem power if someone else upvotes your posts/comments.

Interesting. Are there downsides to upvoting yourself? I just upvoted you and me in this stream as I'm curious what the effect will be.

By the way I voted for some of your earlier works. I haven't voted for this one yet just because I haven't finished reading it!
