changing Steemit gears

in #steemit7 years ago

I've realized over the past few days that Steemit isn't quite the platform for me, as far as trying to build & share some of the creative stuff I was hoping to here. I experimented with a couple things over the last 28 days or so here and unfortunately it just doesn't feel right for me, for various reasons. I'll take the writing projects I've been nursing (mostly offline) to a different community, and I'm not really sure what kind of posting I will do here in the future. I'm intending to get into video work before too long, so maybe I will share those videos here. Or maybe I won't post anything at all. Some of the things that have deterred me from posting other things will probably have similar negative effects on me posting my video posts. So now that I mention it, it's highly likely I won't be posting anything at all. I wish I could remove my older posts, because I kind of want to re-do some of the things I've written and start fresh, but, they are out there now and I can't do anything about it, and that's ok.

I'll keep coming and upvoting things here and there . . . I've identified a few creators here that I enjoy, people who are successfully posting pieces of creative writing and such and seem to be enjoying themselves and writing good stuff, and I'd like to keep up on them and see what they do. But as for me, I'm moving elsewhere. It's been interesting, Steemit!
