The reason I signed up with Steemit is because I saw it written in the clouds... Weird? Yep!
This might sound crazy but here goes…
I went through all the stages of grief. I hung around in denial for WAY too long, frantically searching Google for the answers to fix it. At the end of the day, it was broken. So I decided to take a breather. I laid down on the floor and soaked up the sun's warmth. I felt devastated. A part of me was missing. While I was staring up at the sky, I pondered how on earth I was going to afford another camera. Should I get it repaired? Should I just stop shooting? Is this a sign? And then a sign did appear.
Written in the clouds was the word Steem!
I’m talking loosely shaped letters but it spelt Steem. I recognised the spelling straight away because Ben had been talking about it a few months back. I instantly stood up and set up an account. An excruciating 2 weeks went by with no word of acceptance. I decided I would fork out for a new camera.
And then, one beautiful Spring day in Vancouver, I was finally accepted into the Steemit family. And I’m so glad to be here.
I'm glad you found your way here. Your photos and posts are always really nice.
Ah thanks so much @choogirl I'm so happy to be here. Now to get the word out to everyone else. I hope you have a great weekend 💙
Beautiful story!! Sometimes we get signs in the most unexpected ways! Happy to have you here!
Thank you! We really do. I'm just glad I was paying attention to that one. Love and light 💙
And did you buy the new camera? hihih
You know.. I'm in the same boat more or less. I have some awesome upcoming travel projects to do on my bicycle, however I do want to upgrade my cheap camera so bad!
I'll possibly sell one of the guitars as I don't want to take anything from Steemit now.
I did. I upgraded a little but not as much as I would have liked. I'm still pretty happy with it though. A few more features than my last so happy days 👍
And yeah I agree. I don't want to pull anything out of Steemit either. Lets ride it to the moon 😉 Hope you get your hands on something you're happy with soon. There are some decent and affordable cameras available these days.
Romantic.
I have seen this happen a number of times in my life. Taking the opportunity when it appears before you. To make something of that idea, intuition, or inspiration when it manifests, and act on it. I try to live by this principle and it generally plays out well. I always learn something, at the least!
