Hey Steemians! This is a social experiment, an interactive story with all of you, my fellow Steemians, as co-authors. I will provide some of the characters (along with some back-story) and YOU will help develop the storyline. As more and more of the community joins in, the story will get more interesting with our own plots and twists! Be a hero, a villain, a mistress, or whatever you want! Change characters or create new ones whenever you want and as many times as you like. Upvote your favorite lines and paragraphs and make the story more interesting. We will ALL get credit and have fun at the same time. Let's share the Steemit love!

I will provide the opening paragraph along with some characters and YOU take it from there! Have fun, everybody!

It was almost quitting time. Blake Johnson was about to head back home after a long, hard day at the office. Today had definitely been a "Murphy's Law" kind of day, and he was happy just to get out of that damn building. But those last minutes seem like hours to a "pencil pusher".

Hm... pencil pusher...

That's what that bitch Gina called him earlier that afternoon when they argued about who was in charge of the Claims Department while Mr. Danes was away. Blake didn't particularly want to be in charge of anything at Goobony Industries, but Mr. Danes explicitly told him to "hold the fort" while he was on that trip.

Of ALL the suits working at Goobony, Mr. Danes was the ONLY one that really liked him; took him under his wing right after college and treated him with dignity. That is, until Gina Wyatt came along and immediately (and literally) started "sucking up" to the guy. She slowly turned him into a completely different person when he was around her.

What Mr. Danes was unaware of was a little secret Gina Wyatt and Blake shared together. She was a distraction that allowed Blake to gain a upper hand for an unexpected financial opportunity which unveiled itself a few days prior.

But Blake was starting to question himself. Having second thoughts. After all Mr. Danes had been his mentor. But Gina had a way with words, and they were SO close to getting into Mr. Danes offshore accounts.

It's really a shame that this post didn't take off. Replies going back and forth would've been hilarious. I guess I'll take the 5 cents then.
