I'm pretty sure that first scenario of thinking about doing laundry by hand is straight out of my head. I have thought over and over about this and just don't know about it. You're article has convinced me to give it a try. I adore hanging my clothes to dry but washing? I don't even know how to wash clothes by hand ... was that a toilet plunger? I would love a post about the actual washing process you use. I imagine it taking me hours and hours washing each piece individually
