Interesting article.
I try to convince as many of my friends, acquaintances and work colleagues to join steemit, but I don't distribute my steemit content to Facebook or Twitter because ... I just don't use other social networks or blogging sites.
I am not a typical social media user, and before I learned to like steemit I was not blogging at all ...
But at least my wife ( @kobold-djawa here) uses these sites, and I always encourage her to set links to interesting steemit articles.
