This is genius, not only would it promote people commenting more and higher quality comments, but it would remove the advantage of bots without removing them completely. I really like this idea and would be curious to see how it would play out if implemented.

Me too. Unfortunately, since it would reduce the profitability of many key figures ,it is unlikely to see the light of day, let alone debate for implementation.
