RE: Steemit has spoken

in #steemit6 years ago

it's stated in the whitepaper, somewhere

I meant this

Increase: When your rep is higher - yes, when your rep is lower - yes
Decrease: When your rep is higher - yes, when your rep is lower - no

by @playfulfoodie

That pretty much covers it :)

Sort:

I can see that comment, but it is so strange that I can't find anything related to reputation in the whitepaper, not even the word reputation. So this is why I was tempted not to believe it outside of some official sources.

EDIT: Actually, I was able to find it in the FAQ page which is pretty strange to be there and not in the whitepaper, but anyway:

Downvotes from users with a lower reputation score than you will not hurt your score.

Indeed, now nobody will be able to lower @haejin's reputation. Thank you for taking the time to disagree with me, it was precious for me!

hah my bad then, I've been here a while, can't remember where i saw what, glad you took the time to find out and be sure for yourself, I usually agree to disagree or well in short I argue when I see a reason, I've argued a lot around here, so no big upvotes, not that dramatic as hae :D

Interesting you were so keen to find out, I gotta say FAQ doesn't bother me, I came in when there were 50 posts spread out and a massive outdated introduction to everything post ... :D

Well I'm off to stream some more noise for the walls :| will check you out later, haven't had people argue over semantics and agree at the end of it :D usually we argue over politics and we point fingers, people are strange :D

Oh, I used to stream too, made a completely separate account for that, but I quit, because I started to play too much :))

Good luck with your stream!

good idea yeah I was thinking about what to do with the clutter, maybe I need to get steemconnected :D

I'm beginning to fear I might get back into gaming, although I'd probably stream different things, I prefer talking with people, just gotta setup some topics and talks I suppose...
