I didn’t get too much feedback from the original post asking what I should do with my first steem payout that I did not use to power up, but instead use it in the real world to show friends what can be done and had from the platform. But that's ok, I found something to use it on!
I know a lot of you are likely very familiar with the blockchain, bitcoin, steem, ethereum etc. And very proficient at making them work for you, I might add.
This post is directed at my familiy, friends and others who may not know about the blockchain, Bitcoin, Steem- Or simply put in this example;
Why is Steem so cool?
Why do I want to be on there?
How can it be of benefit in work world terms?
Here I follow up on my last post and I hope to give just a small example how to turn your SBD into real good/services. Original post link below:

So what did I do with the handsome payout?
I actually had another nice little payout that go me up past $46 SBD ( SBD Steem backed dollars)
Here you can see where I took $45 SBD ( Valuated at the time, @ $1.67 USD per 1 SBD) and converted it to Bitcoin ( BTC/XBT= Bitcoin) via https://blocktrades.us/
I got confirmations on the blockchain.
Convert that amount of BTC into USD and you have:
So yeah, at that time it was just under $73 USD.
I knew what to do. Let's use futuristic tech/money/currency for futuristic delivery/goods & services ;-)
I hit up amazonprimenow, put the order together. Using my card that debits bitcoin like USD, I hit pay. And in about 1.5 hours time it was delivered to my door!
Ordered, delivered + a tip for the courier, all under the amount paid out for my simple steem post. check it out. ;-)
And now the bounty received.
I don't care what you say, I know posting on facebook and any other social media outlet is not doing that for you. It's actually quite the opposite when you get deep into it.
There is more to steem than the payout. This thing, this place, this space is brilliant when you really see and figure out what is going on. I can't recommend looking into it enough.
The search engine on the site, you'll be able find all the info you need and more! If you need help or have any questions about the blockchain, steem, bitcoin, whatever it is if I can help or direct you, I will do my very best.
I hope this example got you to see past the 1's and 0's of it all. This is real time.

I haven't went as far as that yet with my first payout - which was tiny of course as I just joined.
This is the future of social media. Crypto taking it to another level where we can all be authors and share some fantastic stories and images across the planet.
I can only imagine how good that feeling was when you had that delivered and each time you eat you'll be thinking about Steemit!
