I rarely upvote my own blog posts and almost never my own comments - I would rather spend the voting power that I have on curation and rewarding those that leave a comment under my posts. However, the more voting power one has, the more tempting it becomes to upvote his/her own posts and comments.

I like your ideas and I hope that the development team will take them into consideration.
