I'm gonna explain how to edit and delete a post on steemit.
It's quite easy to do. There's a couple of little tricks that you have to know. First, if you want to delete a post, you have to delete it before anyone upvotes or comments or anything. Click on the post and you need to be actually in your blog to be able to get to this point.
You can notice edit and delete. So all you need to do to delete this post because you don't have anyone here. That's uploaded. All you have to do is click on delete.
Are you sure?
Click "Ok"
And then that has deleted. You just have to remember that you can't delete a post that's been upvoted or commented. On the other thing is you probably have only a 7 days window to be able to delete the post. So make sure you want to actually delete the post.
Once again goto your blog edit a post. So what you'll do is you'll click on a specific post and you'll go down to the bottom and notice there you have "edit". So, all you have to do is click on edit. Now you can edit this post. For instance, if you just wanted to add something else or whatever you just type it in there and add at the post and then when you're done editing the post. All you have to do is click then again update.
When you edit a post there's another little trick you have to remember that when you're editing a post you only have a 7 days window from when you created the post to be able to then edit that post.
So, there's a couple of things just to remember you can delete. You can also edit a post but there's a little caveat. So, you have to really remember.
- If anyone is upvoted to post you can't delete it.
- If anybody comments on the post you can't delete it.
- If you want to edit a post to be able to edit a post you can click on edit up to 7 days from the creation of that post.
- After 7 days you, can't delete or you can't edit the post.
Just remember those couple of small things and thank you again for paying your attention to this post. Please give your feedback in the form of resteem, upvote and/or comments below. We'll see you on the next topic.
