Steem & Steemit Just Keeps Getting Better
SteemitBlog just announced the new Steem.io website along with a list full of improvements to effect the entire Steemiverse. Most of us are already familiar with some of the updates just recently added to the Steemit platform. A nice new "clean and corporate" style logo and color scheme (including a new night-view mode) matched with some user interface improvements have been met with mixed reviews to say the least. It's taken a bit to sink in but has grown on me pretty quickly. I am sure the new design will serve Steemit well as these next few months unfold. For those "in-the-know", November has been on the calendar as a month to watch Steem evolve. I've got my popcorn ready and I must say "I am entertained"!
SMT's - A Real Game Changer
As probably one of the most undervalued tokens on the planet, Steem tokens have been used by savvy investors, abused by pump-dumpers, loved by idealists, adopted by artists, and favored by foodies. Steem and Steemit has become a passion for a small percent of the people a few steps ahead of the crowd. With the introduction of SMT's or "Smart Media Token's" new focus on the ability for businesses to create their own "SMTs" may very well fuel Steem to be seen for the incredible blockchain system that it is. Get ready because Steemit/Steem are about to explode!

No doubt! I know I got some steem at .85 yesterday just tucked away for the bounce back.
I wonder if 10 Steem to make a SMT is too low.
I worry that SMT might devalue Steem more. I'm on both sides of the fence on that.
I wouldn't think so. I see it as a way for people, companies, entities to purchase and white label their own tokens built on the steem blockchain like you could create DLCoins and fund either through initial investment or even ICO your coin like with etherium. There was someone on here awhile back (I forget who since I've been away for awhile) that was getting into it with Dan because they wanted to create a token people could purchase for buying steem votes like some kind of subcoin which is what I think prompted this but if it works and works well steem will be versatile as all get out so if people give a damn about investing in blockchains with real world purpose other than just for percent profits to rape... steem is the perfect option. But then again wtf do I know, lol.
On one side, it might make Steem like Ethereum, which was $10 and went about $100+.
On the other side, I see that Steem won't grow until the 20th year mark, when it stops being produced automatically at a high percentage. And that at only 10 steem for token, there will be a ton of useless tokens splitting the value of 10 Steem to infinity.
Only time will tell if Dan isn't just creating crypto things in order to watch them roll like small machines across his polished hardwood floors.
