I turn to you fellow steemians as I need your help.
I need your advice and I'm not afraid asking for it.
I made a post yesterday regarding this so I won't go into the exact same details again. However, I really do feel that I have to highlight this post once again, as I feel it should have got more attention.
I had a total of 38 votes.. It's less than I've had on any of my others posts this week.
Perhaps I used the wrong title. Perhaps I could have done things different. Perhaps no one cared.. None of that really matters, as I personally believe that what I'm about to do, is something unique, amazing and encouraging! - That's also something I've talked about in some of my previous posts. To be yourself. To be you. - And here I am, as me.
Seriously though..
With the reaction I got (almost none), I could have just given up like so many others.. But I'm not like them. I won't give up that easily. Instead, I bring you this one more time, and hopefully, this time it will get enough exposure.
I know that steemit is a wonderful and caring community and I want you all to show that side of you now when you read this post. We need it. Well, at least I need it.
I don't ask for upvotes or money..
What I'm looking for is advice. I need your assistance before I do this thing.
In my previous post, I talked about how I will "bring steemit to the streets of Sweden". I shared details about the products I'll give away, what I will do and that everything will be documented and shared on steemit once it's done. I will also share this on youtube and on my steemit fan page on facebook.
The sad part is..
That I turned to you for help. For advice. For suggestions.. And almost none of you helped me out.
Listen.. Hear me out.
I know that this often happens due to the timing of your post, that there's literally thousands of other awesome posts created the same day. That the timing of your post is at exactly that point when all readers went for dinner, for lunch or whatever. I understand all of that. I'm aware of these reasons and I don't take this personally in any way at all. - You shouldn't do that either, if you ever encounter the same thing.
With that being said..
If you look at these results. And I'm not talking about anything besides the amount of votes. You can clearly see that the amount of votes have decreased a lot during these 4 days I made my posts. It sure looks like a downward trend.. However, I think it's more about the timing of my post and about the people who read the post. Perhaps what I wrote didn't please the readers that day... And that's why I'm here one more time. I give this another shot! - Hopefully I will get enough exposure this time, so I can get the advice I'm looking for..
I know that I might be asking for too much here..
And because of that, I will explain everything you need to know.
My project
I will take Steemit to the streets of Sweden. I will interview people, talk about social media and steemit in particular. I will also give away a bunch of things. For one purpose only. To make these people aware of steemit. To make them remember steemit.. And, ultimately, I will bring more users to steemit.
- I want to do this because I've got so much from Steemit already.. And I've only been here for a few weeks!
I believe it's effective and I'm sure it will bring tons of exposure.
What will I do.. And what will I give away?
I will talk with a bunch of random people in Norrköping City, Sweden. I will interview them, on video, about social media and their thoughts of Facebook, Instagram and all that. I will teach them about Steemit and let them navigate through the site using my phone/laptop/ipad, (I haven't decided yet). I will also tell them everything they need to know about this community. I will explain in detail for everyone that it's as easy as one, two, three. They blog, vote and earn. 1,2,3. I will close the deal. Right on the spot!
Things I will give away..
- 5 x Mouse pads.
- 5 x Coffee mugs.
- 25 x T-Shirts. (5 x 5 Sizes)
- Balloons.
- Business Cards.
- Caps.
All with steemit logos. Like these:
- Should I go with both black and white T-shirts?
- Should I use this design or should I use another one?
- Blog, Vote & Earn. Is that simple & catchy enough?

I like the current design. Im skeptical of the roi you will get from this but it certainly cant hurt and I hope your able to reach new people and get them involved with steemit.

I understand that I will pay for each and every product I will give away and that's the whole point with this. I've made far more than the cost for this on steemit already and I want to give something back to the community. By doing something like this, I should be able to bring more people to steemit and that's what this is about. To grow steemit even further. So, when it comes to the actual investment, I will lose money & time by doing this, but in return, I will bring new users and that's something we all would benefit from. :)
