Last Night I Educated a Group of Crypto Newbies About Steemit and Social Media.
Our host Deborah Lindsey invited her Fast Friending PTY group to California Kitchen Pub for a night about Steemit. We had over 20 attendees! I must admit that there is a growing frustration as people are unable to sign up for accounts on Steemit. Whether they are not receiving the SMS or they are never getting the completion email. This is very frustrating.

P.S. The sign-up process is becoming a bigger and bigger issue, no way steemit can become mainstream with this kind of sign-up process. I hear that the process will be faster in the coming weeks, let's hope.

Because of that problem, I halted promoting steemit for a while. Since last month I invited 50+ and none of them got an account until now. Its been a month now.

@hilarski, That's great work you did last night. I've introduced two of my best friends in ma country. But their accounts not activated yet. They haven't receive confirmation E-mail told me by them. Sure...they was very frustrated. I'm also have been Lies.

I also experienced the same @hilarski ...
At the moment I and the team are very incentive to do the promo-steem and make meetup ... but constrained us when we want the list of accounts for newcomers can not steemit ... we hope that there is action to be able to simplify the list of new accounts steemit .. this must be will greatly help us to get people to join the plaform steemit. A few weeks ago, we had to use some of our steam to register their accounts.
