This problem pops up often for new Steemit users. The simple answer is that they do not have enough SteemPower to cover the bandwidth needed to post as many times or comment as many times as they would desire.
Please Go To SteemD to See Your Bandwidth.
As you can see in this screenshot I have 98.93% left in my bandwidth for the day. My voting power is down to 41.63%.
How to Fix Bandwidth Issues on Steemit.
- Wait Until Your Bandwidth Recovers. Use SteemD to Check.
- PowerUp Your Steemit Account. The More Steempower You Have the More Bandwidth You Have.
Can delegated SP solve this issue ??

Need More Power
I had a buddy of mine contact me for this very reason! These were the only two suggestions I had for him! I am glad there was nothing else that could be done! He opted for option 1

I think they recover at the same speed. I am not 100% positive but that is my best guess.

Earlier i used to see it but after having some Steem power no more a issue if one has enough steem power in account

Actually I had this problem just now on another account, not being able to use the market or send transactions with more than enough bandwith in store. Could be just me but it seems like the Steem blockchain is having some issues atm.
I have never had an issue. How much Steempower does that account have? Did you check on SteemD like I mentioned?
20SP, with above 75% bandwith. The weird thing is that upvoting still works fine (would assume commenting as well, but haven't tested).
Mostly this happens to new accounts with lots of activity. They can get SP on lease from Minnowbooster for one week and there will be no issue during that week. If they get SP for one month, there will be no issue for one month.

I used to get this a lot when I started. It was so annoying to deal with! Hasn’t happened since my account powered up a lot!

I have never had a problem with this but I have always stayed powered up. Steem rewards to ones truly committed. This is another great reason to stay powered up. We have very little spam and trolls unlike Reddit and Facebook where the experience is totally different in a negative way. I love Steem! Thanks for sharing.
Trust me or not...I had this problem in last 4 day. I writed a post, then suddenly I receive a message "bandwith kimit bla bla...". I was so nervous at that time. Just last night I can post, but...I not was so happy for delay :(

@coupleumbrella its an issue Steemit Engineers are working on. If you have a chance listen to this video that explains the updates coming to Steem, @andrarchy explains the bandwidth issue in Steem. I have never had this problem but I have been here since June 2016 just a few months after launch investing into Steem Power and building my influence on Steem, always holding good amounts of Steem Power. Unlike Facebook and Twitter, Steem has little to no spam b/c essentially the Steem Power is what gives you access to the bandwidth in the Steem blockchain. If users were allowed vote or post as often as the like without a reduction in bandwidth rights then Steem would be flooded with spammers and fakers just like the other centralized Social Media systems we are all are running away from. Steem is the ultimate mediocrity. High SP gives users high influence and higher bandwidth rights.
Yeah, my friend had the same issue a few days ago.
But I'm still not sure if it can be helped with delegating SP or not.

I think there might be another issue going on with Steemit. I have not done much to use up my bandwidth and SteemD is saying I have -1.36%.
It's a very good way to stop abuse. Otherwise people would go nuts and get bots all the way into steemit and they would keep upvoting 24/7. Good thing we have the concept of bandwidth and Steem power. This is truly a boon.

I think there is more to it than that...
I have these problems in the early morning for several hours when I haven't been active. It seems to fix itself in the afternoon. I can spend an hour or two making a lot of comments, upvotes, etc. then stop for x hours. When I return in the evening, no problems. But then morning... problem cycles again.

I'm having this problem but the thing is that I'm not doing anything on steemit, my bandwith goes down by itself, last night I went to sleep with 60% bandwith, when I woke up I had 20%, and now 14%...??????????
Thanks a lot for informing me about steemd yesterday, I am starting to understand the whole issue with bandwidth and will be monitoring it from now on for each time I post. I may take a couple days off from steemit after my next post to have to charge as full as possible. I noticed the KB speed of bandwidth lowers in the morning and I have more bandwidth at night time. Guess its the traffic?
