I am humbly asking for your help...
Tomorrow, June 26, 2017, Muslims around the world will be celebrating Eid al-Fitr to mark the end of Ramadan. It is supposed to be a festive and joyful event for every Muslim. But unfortunately, not this time for the Muslims in the Southern part of the Philippines, particularly in Marawi and Cotabato City.
Until now in Marawi City, the war against the Maute Group is still ongoing. Many lives (soldiers and civilians) have been stolen and families (especially the children) of both Muslims and Christians have been greatly and badly affected.
Cotabato City, on the otherhand, has already been threatened by the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters or BIFF.
For many Muslims affected in the two cities, they are saddened by the fact that tomorrow's Eid al-Fitr will be a lot different--it will be their first time to experience Eid al-Fitr in grief.
Whether you are a Christian or Muslim, or no matter what your religion is, I am humbly asking for your help...PLEASE spare at least five (5) minutes of your time to pray. They need your prayers that the war will end soon, that no more lives will be harmed, and that peace will soon reign.
Thank you so much.
