For me, part of the profit of using steemit is being able to read lots of cool stuff. It's written by us, just normal people, so we're not reading the same boring stuff that people are paid to write about in commercial journals and magazines.

Not just that, but the fun of writing and having a community is also worth something to me. There's more to life and steemit than money.
