I am new to Steemit and love the concept. I am very fascinated by a number of blockchain products, this being one of them. I do have one question to point out after reading this article as well as some of the comments. If all of the content is essentially prioritized by upvotes and token spending how does that necessarily guarantee truth or quality? I most definitely could be misunderstanding the whole concept, because like I said I am new to it, but it seems the people with the most steem (or potentially money) are able to decide what is focused on or true....?
