6 months ago, I told you the secret of how I was able to become a millionaire in 9 days on Steemit!
Do you remember or did you miss that post? Have you just signed up or somehow that crazy headline skipped your feed when I dropped it back in June? That post got over 1,600 views and 380 comments (which was a lot back then!) There's a lot to talk about when the 0's start multiplying! (It's electrifying!)
Everyone wanted to know HOW I did it and luckily, I was and am willing to share my success story with you all!

In honoring the year 2017 and all the amazing fortune it brought me here, a new family, a creative outlet, ignited passion... I wanted to bring this how to guide back to the surface to share again how you too can become a millionaire on Steemit.

Recap of 2017:
2017 was a huge year for me (I know most of you are going to skip this trying to find the secret recipe but hang on with me, there was a lot I learned that I would love to share with you) I started blogging overnight and I went from not having any idea what I was doing on here and quite literally crying about it (because I am an overachiever and need to understand and excel at things I put my heart into) to forgoing sleep for days at a time, reading about coding, blockchains and cryptocurrency so I could step up to the plate and be considered worthy to be here! :)
After my late nights of research, I began to understand things that most people probably have no idea about and are honestly, completely unnecessary for interacting on this platform. BUT, I fell in love, getting so wildly in-tuned with the platform, I developed a bond and my blog started gaining more traction, I was meeting new people and I gained an inspired sense of creativity which I had been lacking so, needless to say, things were awesome!
When you are passionate about what you are writing about, people will notice.
That is my biggest piece of advice to everyone out there! I often was asked to write specific pieces but I never did. People told me some of my articles would bomb. I didn't care. I wrote whatever I wanted. The creative genius in me stayed free and happy and so that love flowed through my blog and brought me to meet my lovely community!
At the height of my game, when everything was running smoothly and seemingly perfectly, I had a bunch of life punch me in the face and I had to take off for what I at the time thought would be couple of days here and there. I was gone for 2 months. In Steemit time, that was 1/4 of how long I had been on here in the first place! I started forgetting what I was even doing here anymore as I got whisked away into newness and my username got buried under all the new accounts being made!
I came back after choosing to go to New Zealand to deal with some lifely matters instead of going to Steemfest like I had always intended and now we even have a new logo! (Does anyone else remember the blue waves?)
(The time I tried to be the wave!)I feel like I stepped into a time capsule but getting out in this new time, Steemit is doing amazing as I always anticipated and it's wonderful to see and feel the family growing. I am so happy to be here and am excited to share my secret with you!

I have always tried to bring a smile to this platform. I never took selfies before I started my account but now I do every day of me smiling, inspiring smiles is the name of my game! I am an inspirational coach and I look for motivation and sunshine in everything, every day. If something goes bad, laugh it off. Oh boy, I have had a lot go bad lately that I turned into a positive by my frame of mind around it. That's what I am doing here. Trading smiles, hugs and love.

I also love inspiring through food, specifically healthy, good for you, nutritionist approved meals (I am also a raw food nutritionist and a vegan awareness advocate) I share incredible, mouth watering recipes to get you inspired to give a plant based diet a go. But hey, if it's not for you, I am not the pushy type and instead offer advice and inspiration only to those who are interested and wanting to learn more. I am an adventurer by heart and although as you may know, I live in Bali... I am always on the go and love sharing with you the wonderful pictures I pick up along the way. Good thing they can't weight my photos somehow or I'd never get on my flights!
Basically, my whole existence on here is sharing love, happiness, and positivity and hoping that through my world which is strongly focused on living in the present, being free, joyful and healthy will serve as a motivational tool to anyone who thinks they can't get out there and make their dreams come true. No one ever got anywhere without trying. Let me show you that it's possible <3

While it's true that Steemit has made me a millionaire... it's actually done more than that for me.
What I have gained here is priceless.
As I mentioned earlier, I have gained truly authentic relationships here which I was lacking in my life prior. I have found a place where I can read, discuss and share my interests with other community members!

I've learned about community and taking care of one another by being involved in initiatives such as MSP. I am helping other minnows, newbies like myself get a head start.

I've learned to face some of my biggest fears and have been incredibly supported in doing so, all within under 2 weeks of being here.
Finally, Steemit has provided for me a home to place my thoughts, idea and creativity. My stories are being shared and you have all been supporting me and encouraging me! It brings me happiness to my inner core to hear your positive comments when I share my heart with you.
There are many things money can't buy so no matter how you look at it, Steemit has made me rich and I am so thankful to be part of this community!

I really learned a lot from this. It is not about writing what is trendy but whatever your heart tells you to. Just like your handle: heart-to-heart. Whatever comes from the heart touches the heart.
I am always passionate about changing people's mindset and motivating them to be better. Some of my posts haven't gotten the attention i desire but not giving up and giving the best by writing from your heart is key as i have learned right now. Thank you my dear friend.

I'm so happy to hear I could help. I posted the later part of it 6 months ago and I felt it helped a lot of people so I wanted to resurface it and give that opportunity to spread again. I know that it can be hard not to focus on the dollar signs, but every time I worried about the likes or the amount being shown at the bottom, it never worked out for me. It was a hard lesson I had to learn fast. Sometimes I would put an entire day into a post (or even longer) and it wouldn't go anywhere but that's all part of the process, just letting creativity free from any expectation <3
If you're trying to motivate people, don't worry, they will eventually catch on <3 That's a beautiful goal!

Oh my world! You just spoke to my soul. Wow. That is true. It is easy to lose motivation and inspiration when we focus on the dollar sign. Even if one person got pumped and psyched from the post, i think that should always count. I just got my mind renewed right now. I will keep writing my heart out, everything is about processes. We live to learn and when processes are not skipped, the success that would come afterwards would be maintained.

I just happened to come across your blog and wow, you are so inspiring. I also have been deep in the black hole of researching steemit like you did. I have doubts if my writing is even worth reading... let alone upvoting. I find myself extremely frustrated having never written content before.
However, last night I came across a new account from a charity orphanage in Uganda. Their first post had made hundreds of dollars within the first couple hours. That’s when I knew I’d be staying regardless if anyone upvoted my posts. Real change happening right before my eyes, a cause that needed funding and it was happening within hours. Just that alone is enough to stick around.

Hey @bitdollar! I love hearing that! You know, I never in my life wanted to blog. People have been telling me for years to start writing what I am doing, where I'm going and I just never did because I didn't want it to take me out of the moment. There's a fine line there too that I am always careful of treading on.
I am a huge cheerleader when I hear people say that they want to make steps and changes in order to do what they feel passionate about so I wish you the best of luck and have a feeling you'll be right where you want to in no time!
Haha it's OK, I took some time off and I used to post a lot so digging up that info could turn out to be a chore at this point! I'm originally from Canada, haven't lived there in years though as I have been traveling.
I have never written that post yet (to my memory) so I should but I do/have done odd things along the way once I quit my job and left Canada in pursuit of this life. I've never looked back <3

I do not. I am very passive about spending time online because I am often out, on the run! I tried to do the whole social media empire thing but it's too much for me. I have a few friends that are full in though.

I hear you, I am very much about staying in the moment and away from technology but very much want to create massive success and online social media is the way to scale and way of the future, so it is a tough balance.

For me I am a real estate investor down here and in the US. That is my main focus but will be leaving in a couple weeks to Guatemala to get away from the cold, get my adventure on. Just working and hitting the gym until then. :)
Btw, do you lose health care coverage when you are gone from Canada for so long?

I have a little bit of a different mentality about money and success, I'm just happy being where I am and moved here for a much simpler life, giving up everything I had back home. I'm much more free now and much, much happier I'll tell you that. Something my parents will never understand ;)
Guatemala will be nice this time of year, I can only imagine how bad you must want to escape that freezing cold my mom's been telling me about... yikes. Not jealous.
Canada is tricky, it depends on how you file everything, if you go home etc. Personally, not very concerned with it but I know of some people that have lost it, yes, definitely.

Hmmm MSP is down you say? Strange... from what I can tell, a lot of the sites operating on the blockchain were having issues the past couple of days. Definitely beyond my technical ability to assess but hopefully they'll get it all sorted because when I first started, that network was wonderful for me and I would love it if more people could access that same opportunity <3

I am hoping I can do half as well and get out of this slump that I'm in. I have been in it every since I was rear ended at a red light by some speeding kid who wasn't paying attention.
Everything snowballed after that. My woman left, I had to sell my truck, insurance cut me off and left me high and dry for 6 months and I had to fight them to get medical coverage. I was basically stranded because I wasn't able to drive.
Now that I can, I want to buy another truck, not a car though, I don't feel safe in them. When I was rear ended I decided to take my ex girlfriends small car to the store for some reason and of course I regret not taking my truck.
Any tips will help me so thank you for posting your story.
You know @mikej, I just happened to write a post last night about how a mindset can change everything in your life from what's happening to you to what's happening for you it might help remind your heart to let go, and trust in life's plan for us even if things seem really, super hard.
I have had (I tell ya) a bunch of shit smack me in the face and like you said, it was all snowballing but the thing is, it'll keep growing if you let it so DON'T LET IT! <3

Thank you for your kind response, I will definitely read your post. I agree with you about mindset and the power of thoughts and I really try. I have to overcome the physical injuries and I am doing that with Yoga and acupuncture, no pain pills.
Mindset is important but it can be challenging when if you're in pain or have constant ringing in your ears. I do though believe though that the power of thoughts can heal physically as well.

I know it can be really hard. About a year and a half ago, I was in a car accident too and it's left me quite physically annoyed let's say so, my neck and back really bother me and because I am not in the USA (where it happened) it's kind of a nightmare with treatment etc... all has to come out of pocket so trust me, I understand and in no way was I trying to be insensitive.
I will recommend something that may be out of the orthodox but it helped me tremendously and served to change my life. My accident was in Texas and I visited Austin to see a friend. For some reason, I felt weirdly called to try something called reiki... I had never done it before and barely knew anything about it but I made an appointment with a woman there.
That day, more pain dissipated from my body than I could ever make sense of. After that, along my travels I vowed to study and learn that modality and since, I have become certified in it. It's helped me not only physically but emotionally and mentally get through the blocks of the pain.
It really helped me and I strongly suggest looking into it as an option to clear out that pain for you so you can move on from it and leave what doesn't serve you behind <3

I've gone through many bad things 2 years ago, too, but now I'm happier than ever. My passion is to help people live a healthy life with sharing my healthy vegan recipes, and I'd like to inspire people to be happy and enjoy every single minute of life. I still didn't do many research about Steemit, cryptocurrencies, etc, I just strated posting without knowing anything about the whole system, because the only thing I know is, that I want to give value to the people.
