Giving away 100% or almost 100% of curation reward is not so good in the long term - @tipU needs more own SP to power-down more STEEM each week and also to cover more investments.
Currently @tipU votes at 15 minutes mark so it's still quite fast. Plus it's compatible with HF20 that comes in... September? Need to check that one.
Yep, 25th of September. In HF20 the curation reward before 15 min mark will not go to the post author or voter anymore. So it's gonna be much better to vote at 15 min mark or later.
I was thinking about it - will monitor the demand and make the change if needed. Currently the STEEM price is falling which may cut the demand.
Btw, why remove the instant vote concept?
The highly liquid pay to the investors have shown its worth; the SP delegation rocketed.
Plus, it really helps the post-promotion buyer.
