23 days ago I didn't know what Steemit was.
22 days ago, after my husband @rlamasb told me about Steemit, I made my first post not knowing what to expect.
And this morning here in Sydney I woke up to see that I have reached over 500 followers! I'm super excited!
I think the fact that @jerrybanfield gave me a little shout out in this post 11 hours ago encouraged a few more people to come my way, so thank you, Jerry!:
I love, love, love Steemit. I love the community spirit. I love the fact that it allows me to be creative. I love being inspired by seeing great posts from other people like @trevonjb, @jerrybanfield, @decentralizd, @sweetsssj... the list goes on and on of amazing people on here, there is far too many to name.
I also really appreciate the Steemit friendships I have being building over the last few weeks of being here, with people like @andyluy @princessmewmew, @vinnu, @dontstopmenow - you guys are awesome! And my new fam too @teamaustralia, I am so happy to have found my fellow aussie Steemians
Because I am so happy about being here, and having so many great people following me and upvoting and commenting on my posts, I wanted to send out a little Steem to everyone today, as I have seen others make that same token of appreciation to their followers and people they like in the past! I know it's not much at all, but just a small way of saying hey! and thank you! So over the next 24 hours I will send that across to each person following my blog :)

Wow that is a quick success. I mean I can see that you joined steemit this June and you already have 500 followers. That's a big achievement. And many many congratulations to you for having achieved this on steemit. Hope to see you more around and also, keep doing the good work. And always keep shining.
If you start with a good introduction post and keep sharing good content on Steemit then the community helps you grow and it's only a matter of time that you reach 1000 followers @nikita.adroit :)
