Hello all, looking at the Steem charts and other related stats this evening. The weekly chart below has quite a cyclical ride from the inception in the summer of 2016. It may be stair stepping higher and consolidating in a wide range now.
The daily chart shows the tight consolidation range last year until the breakout. You can see the rather large trading range that it is in now, between $3 and $6. If Steem repeats a performance like last year, expect to see this range for a few months with a potential spike higher towards the 4 quarter/end of year.
The Upbit exchange still leads in volume, the south Koreans sure have an appetite for cryptos...
Going to the Upbit exchange, if you look at volume by KRW (South Korean won), Steem is 13th on the list. Not bad considering the amount of cryptos available.
I saw this interesting bit of blockchain info, Steem is #1 in terms of blockchain activity/transactions. It appears that the amount of transactions on this site outpaces every other crypto out there. ETH is in second place, I would guess that this is counting all of the ERC20 tokens.

Alexa rank of 1016. This is quite impressive considering all of the web pages out there!

Top visitors by country, USA leads the blogging...followed by Korea and the UK.
The google trends search for steemit has declined slightly since a peak about one month ago. Venezuela leads the search for Steemit. The ones who are staying I guess as they have a lot of people leaving the country as reported a few days ago.
Those Alexa stats are next level. The domain has some serious power that is just waiting for brands to take advantage of.
Yeah, I'm curious when the Smart Media Tokens will be implemented. They will be based on the Steem blockchain so I would guess that would drive even more people here and the Steem price higher.
Oh wow, I was not expecting that, and look at the CUI! At the moment steem is at 0.14%!! No scalability problems there I'd say.
ETH on the other hand is bursting at the seams with about 7000 unconfirmed transactions. Is that expected? I'm not well versed in ethereum's inner workings...
Edit: Well, I forgot eth is still in its PoW phase...that explains it.
Yeah, ETH will everntually be converting to PoS,,,so they say.

yeah, i think a bot whale just came to one of my posts (of course right after i say this) and my usual rewards from post are like 20-50 cent, and my most recent just hit $92...... like blew me out of the water.
Congrats on the whale vote, they are hard to come by. That gives you incentive to continue on this platform as I think many quit b/c of the lack of exposure and upvotes/$'s.
yeah for sure. but hey if you gain one or two a day for a month, in a few months you'll kill it ya know? just keep our heads u and do good stuff and just try to make good posts right?
