RE: Calling All Content Creators. A Steem / Steemit Infrastructure Is Being Built.

in #steemit7 years ago

I hope your post brings in some more great content creators to Steemit.

One of the big hindrances, that I see at the moment, is the complexity of the financial side when you first arrive here, especially when you have no crypto experience.

In the early days (actually it's still early days - I've only been here 6 weeks) there were a couple of times I wanted to give up as I found my lack of understanding very frustrating. Even when I ask questions, most of the time when they are answered I still don't understand.

But the other side of Steemit - the interesting stuff I'm learning, the inspiring people I'm meeting, the patience and kindness shown to me when I ask my newbie questions - more than make up for the frustration.

I still have to pinch myself that I am earning money doing something I really love to do!

I totally agree. I know people new to crypto can find the entire experience of finding an exchange and learning how to cash out a bit overwhelming. It can be a complicated process for people just starting out. I also think it's the perfect platform to introduce new people to crypto and teach them how it works.

The crypto community in general is a pretty welcoming one. People love to share their knowledge and teach new people about this new technology. I'm happy you didn't give up, and have had a good experience with the community in general :) Welcome to Steemit and crypto!

Thank you. I've only recently started following you and you have already helped with my education!

I haven't even started with the exchange and cashing out bit. I am finding Steem and SBD and powering up enough to be going on with. Not to mention getting my head around upvoting and how all the aforementioned relate to each other.

For now my main goal its to get to 500SP so I can get the slider and give more upvotes that have more value.

I like the idea of doing that without buying my way to it. It makes the game more interesting to me. But once I feel more settled here I'd like to learn about in crypto in general and maybe start trading.

I'm the same way. Couldn't agree more. Glad you're finding my posts helpful, and I really appreciate the kind words and support.
