Yes. Currently there is as far as I know no way to get content of the blockchain after the 7 day period. This makes it dangerous if people expose information that they might not want to expose in the feature.
Exactly, I hope there will be a feature soon where a user can have more decision about his data. Even like removing all of it for example.
I think that would require that the post/comments data is not stored in the blockchain, but some kind of off-chain database instead. It would take a lot of redevelopment work, but could be a good way to go.
Actually there's no way to get data off the blockchain at all (except a hard-fork). When you remove your vote or edit your comment, they are extra records being saved in the blockchain, but the originals are also kept, and can be viewed using some tools.
