I think this is completely true. I'd like to add (my 2 cents or make that 'my 2 steem') that steemit is also more than just 'keep on posting your blog'. THere is also a communication back and forth that I feel is just as important - a poster should always be looking for new content that is interesting to them and make comments to that poster. Good comments that can create dialogue...and friends! and followers! Likewise with comments on your own blog. It's a full-on engagement. It's hard to keep that up all the time, but it's important for growth and success.
