I've thought about all these myself as well. Going full into Steem is really a hard decision to make, i've thought of pulling out all my investments in other cryptos and putting it all in Steem.
Steem has grown really well and i have to say has impressed us all, but still the rising issue of multiple bots on the blockchain is really a drawback (my opinion)
I use these bots sometimes for obvious reasons but i believe it would be all beneficial to everyone if there was a way the terms of operation of these bots could be reviewed.
The bots harvest a lot from the reward pool and this definitely has to be fixed some how to get a probable breakthrough on the blockchain -maybe in a future hardfork
