What's all this crap ?!
What's all this crap ?!
I've joined Steemit 1 or 2 weeks ago, but I started to write like 3 days ago. On Wednesday we had a Steemit meeting here, in Bucharest where we discussed strategies, tips and other stuff.
I came to realize that almost everyone on Steemit is doing this mistake
...
If there is one thing I've learned from YouTube
, is that you have to set some limits ! The average watch time on YouTube
is around 5 minutes
and we're talking about videos, not articles !
PLEASE stop writing an entire BOOK
on Steemit. 99% of the people here don't have time to read your entire post ! They don't come here to educated themselves !
It's much easier to search on Google
the topic you're interested in and read or watch a video about that. You don't need to dig in the pile of articles from Steemit.
By the way, just to be clear, I don't encourage writing bad quality articles, but, PLEASE, stop writing 500+ words posts. I mean, it's up to you, but you're the one who's losing precious time on too long stories. Everyone wins if you write short and good quality articles and it's better to split your idea in multiple stories ( that way you can add a bit of mystery..who knows ?! )
In 2017 everyone is looking for a solution to solve the time management problem and you're not helping !
So, my advice for you is:
HAVE A NICE DAY FELLOW STEEMIANS !
Also pagination is crucial. Using bold and italic makes it more appealing for the eye. I know, I'm one of the sinners with long posts. I try to have somewhere between 250-400 words/posts. Maybe will cut it to see the feedback.
question is, will anyone listen?
probably not :)
I am listening already :D
Ya u r right..
Small and good!
You are right man! Wish you a great day!
Haha ! Hope for a great weekend ! :D
Upvote for telling how it is .... was tempted to check your wordcount though ;)
It must be somewhere around 250 :D
:)) Well, I might have a long article - that one with my honeymoon, but it was before this post, so..I'm saved :D
Sometimes a longer article is good :) for instance, a tutorial or how to guide needs a number of words, which are necessary. what about people's art is writing? Would you say to a painter try to paint using less colors or don't fill the entire canvas, I don't have time to watch the entire painting? just sayin'
