Well considering I am choosing who my votes go to I see it as a way to make my support more consistent and convenient. I’m not just handing out my votes to anybody. My list consists of people I trust to create strong content, my friends even. There are times when my feed is overpopulated and I miss something that was worth my vote.
Now if I just focused my votes on every whale account that’d be a different story. However I am not doing that, essentially the same votes I’d normally give are being handed out for me at the best time so that we both benefit. I still can go back and read the posts whenever I have the proper time allotment.
I agree, misuse of bots could ruin Steemit. However with proper etiquette they are a huge benefit for everyone involved.
