Very interesting calculations but I think you haven't put the curation rewards into account. With 1500 SP you will make about ~0.35 Steem just from curation rewards. More from yourself and less from others. More if it was a post you upvoted early and where many votes followed yours. That doesn't make it profitable either but more interesting.
