I once had a boss who told me that I would be great in a higher level role if I learned to master one specific line.
Enough with the excuses. Just make it happen, alright.
Once I knew that rule and had mastered how to incorporate it within our culture, performance increased multiple fold.
I'm sure it did man. It is a great lesson to learn. Making excuses wastes so much energy and not only of our own but also of those that have to hear it. I did a post about it though I cannot remember which one now.
If you are going to be late for example. Say you are late, when you expect to finish and nothing else. One word more becomes an excuse and wastes so much energy not to mention can really upset people that are relying on what you have said.
